I'm doing something similar to Pahla's plan and have had success with it. I'm doing Lift with Cee workouts and adding in more rest days in between lifting weights, and I stopped doing high-impact cardio and mostly just walk when I can. My workouts are very simple now. I'm also on an estrogen patch and natural progesterone which I feel has helped immensely, also lowering stress as much as possible. I wish you the best of luck to find out what works for you. Sometimes it takes quite of bit of experimenting!

Thanks! I'm following Pahla's calories and while I haven't tried her workouts yet or changed what workouts I'm doing, I have been lowering the intensity quite a bit and going for form over speed and completely eliminating all plyometrics and explosive, jumping, high-impact moves. I do feel somewhat better already.

As of today, I'm officially 15 lbs down from October. It took a while to find the calorie deficit that works for me (too high and I don't lose; too low and I don't lose). I really credit Pahla for opening my eyes to calorie deficits and working out too much/too hard. I was in such denial! Gosh, I wish I wouldn't have been so stubborn in these past few years!

Now on to the next 20 lbs...

Meh - it's complicated - too long to post.

Hi Sue! I've been slowly unsubscribing to a lot of things. After I started keeping it simple with just brisk walking for cardio, I started seeing a change. I also think any kind of stress, whether it's exercise related or just life in general will make it difficult to lose weight. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder which has made things more difficult, and now I have to take extra rest days because my muscles hurt so much.

How do you get the ebook? I put in my email address and hit download but nothing comes. Am I to get an email with it or what?

I would like to see what she says.
