Pink Firms

The other FIRM thread got me to think of giving the pink FIRMS another try.
The ones I used were very fast paced and I need something slower.
The ones I tried were cardio focused.

Can someone tell me about the weight/strength focused pink FIRMS that are more moderate in pace? I would like to try those and see if, now, they would fit the bill for me. I like the shorter times. What weights can your use?

One good slower-paced weights-focused pink FIRM is Hi-Def Sculpt with Annie. Her cueing isn't the greatest, but honestly it is among my favorite pink FIRMs. I don't think there's really ANY cardio except for some very basic four-limb movement, and while it's not a big calorie-burner it is a great upper- and lower-body sculpting challenge. I love it. It's also only 45 minutes, which is the sweet spot of workout lengths for me.

Another good slower pink is Cardio Sculpt Fusion with Emily (aka Total Body Lite). It's specifically a recovery workout that has more of a fusion feel, kind of flowing barre/Pilates with a lot of stretching. The cardio element is very minimal. It's longer (about 50 minutes) but it is great for an active recovery day or for a slower pace.

One of my favorites is Total Body Time Crunch. It is both weights and cardio, but is not cardio focused and the Express pre-mix is all sculpting.

Oo, that one is really good, too.

Thanks for this! I had no idea the express mix is all sculpting!

Total Body Toner with Allie Del Rio is all toning and uses weights.
*Power Sculpt workout with Allie Del Rio uses the "sculpting stick pro" which was heavier than the sculpting stick that came with BSS2.
*Sculpt & Tone Pilates with Alison Davis uses a band and is all toning.
Sculpt-ilates with Robyn Johnson uses a band and is all toning.
*Fat Burning Sculpting Ball Workout with Tina Smalley uses a small weighted ball.

*these were initially offered with a gadget in 2006, and later on, sold without equipment.

Thank you, Jeannine. These are all sculpting focused and that's great, but are they done in an unfrenzied way? Could a dumbbell be used for the stick?
