I was just coming to post the same thing, Gams. He did so much for the game. RIP.

RIP. What an athlete. He started with the Negro leagues, and I've read that the best baseball ever played was played in the Negro Leagues.

Larry King has passed away at age 87. I heard he was hospitalized with the virus, but it sounded like he was doing okay. This virus is nasty. RIP

For Babylon 5 and/or Lost fans, Mira Furlan has passed away.

She was only 65 and apparently died from complications of the West Nile Virus.

Oh, how sad. I had B5 in my dvd player just last night. I didn’t realize she was just a very few years older than I am.

Henry Aaron. I remembered when we watched him break the record. It was amazing and wonderful. His life story outside of the ballfield was equally amazing. Grace and class. RIP.

I remember when he broke the record, too! Boy, that was big time stuff. What an athlete. I understand he was a good person, too.

Oh, that just stinks! Thank you for posting. I think I will watch an episode of Mary Tyler Moore in tribute.

She had a wonderful acting career. Loved her in Young Frankenstein and she was hilarious on Raising Hope. May she rest in peace.
