Suggestions for face cleanser for mature skin

I'm looking at improving my skin regiment. I've been researching facial cleansers for mature skin. I'm 56 and have clear skin but tends to dry easily.

I would love to hear what you use and why. Keep in mind, I can't spend crazy amounts of money on this.

TIA ~

I'm a budget shopper. I use Cerave SA cleanser but it's probably too drying for you. When my face is drier (or in the winter), I use one of these:

The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser
https://theordinary.deciem.com/produ...-cleanser-50ml
It's kind of a thick balm that warms between your hands and then just melts onto your face. I buy from TO or Ulta (costs more at Ulta but it's easier to return if you don't like it).

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser

I won't lie...it feels like smearing lotion on your face. Seriously. But it washes off clean and my face feels nice afterwards. (And in general, I trust Cerave and their products play nice with my skin.)

Also, don't forget to check you water. When I moved to NJ I had to change my hair and face regimen because of the hard well water. Even after buying a water softener system.

second the Cerave hydrating cleanser. You can also get the Walmart Equate one which is pretty much the same! this is recommended by Dr. Dray on youtube , a board certified dermatologist

I’m 53 and I’ve been on a huge skincare kick this year. Obaji Gentle Cleanser is wonderful. You can find it at Dermstore, along with lots of other tempting products, so beware! For makeup removal, I use Caudalie Cleansing Oil. Good old Pond’s Cold Cream works beautifully too.

I'm 45 and don't splurge much on fancy things. I use Olay Regenerist cream/exfoliating cleanser.

I use Epicuren Apricot cream cleanser and love it. You can find some good sales on Epicuren too but you only need a small amount so the tube lasts for quite awhile.

I'm 52 and I'm looking to retain as much moisture as I can!

I agree that the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is a good one, but it does not remove makeup, so you'd need another product for that purpose.
