Let's get a list of FREE workout sites going.

ETA 9/9/2013:
Wow, this thread has really grown and times have really changed since I started it.

Additional requests: PLEASE do not put obviously pirate/pirated sites on this thread. We respect and love/like/love-to-hate our instructors and they have the right to be reimbursed for their hard work in making us work hard. If they can't support themselves, they can't support us. (Insert any other similar cliché you like.)

Thanks for adding to this great, supportive thread.

We all get a tip here and there about a free site, but it would be great to have a list in one place of the frugal VFers' favorites.

Have you got a site/tip to share of your fave freebies?

Instead of just saying You Tube, tell us a specific person to search for, or name on the You Tube account.

This is a list I compiled for my WW class and just cut and pasted on here.
There is mention of some WW stuff, but no specific diet is mentioned. It is a recipe site.

I did this about a year ago. As far as I know the links are still active, but things. change.

All the standard warnings apply, do these at your own peril, I am not recommending any of these per se. Some of these sites may sell supplements. I am in no way recommending those, either. I tried to go through them the best I could and get rid of the obvious offenders.
Some of these sites are best just to be viewed so one can see how fit a “normal” person can be.

If you are interested in at home workout videos, http://www.videofitness.com is a great place to go to get reviews of new and old workouts, including active gaming workouts. It has a very active forum as well as the reviews so you can post questions if you need answers.

For workout/health apps, these are interesting.
FitnessClass. This app is “free.” It has workout DVDs that you can watch and work out to. It is an iPad app. I don’t know if it will work with a Touch. Some of the workouts are free, but the majority are ones you pay for. You can pay for single use, or a month’s use or you can “buy” the DVD for your iPad to always have. Great way to do a workout on the road.
WeightWatchersKitchen This is a free app and allows non e-tools subscribers to do some things, but allows greater access to e-tools subscribers. There are a number of Weight Watchers apps.
FitnessFree is a free app. It shows exercises for people to put together their own workout programs. There are a number of these type apps.
For my treadmill or walk/jog workouts, I use something called Seconds. This has the HIIT times (high intensity interval training) built into it. It has beginner, intermediate and advanced HIIT as well as a tabata timer.
An example of a beginner HIIT would be a 5 minute warm up, 30 seconds high (for you) intensity, 1 minute 30 seconds low, then 30 seconds high, repeat for a total of 20 minutes. This is great for building endurance. This was free when I got it, but I don’t know if it still is. They also have it to where you can play your own music with your workout, paced to your needs.
I am sure there are a number of these timers available.

If you type in “fitness” or “exercise” in the search area, lots of stuff will come up.

I do Bernadette Giorgi's Attitude and Attitude Tu using the site. Free membership will give you access to the videos, but they won't be full screen or ad free. Ads are easy to jump. I don't find it too annoying!

www.exercisetv.tv
Always has a number of workouts that can be used without paying for them or downloading them. Downloads are cheap.

www.ultimatepilatesworkouts.com
All you need to do is become a member and you can view full workouts for free (very good instruction!!!!). Downloads are cheap
