I've been thinking of getting a spare DVD player too. I have a 5 disc, but my 3 disc player wouldn't open one day and tried to steal one of my dvds lol I had to open the whole case retrieve it! Now I don't trust it and it's in the junk pile. Trying to decide if want a single player that is portable or another multidisk.

when I saw the thread about VF possibly 'dying out', I was aghast. I learned so much from VF but been a long time lurker. Decided I should be posting more often. Been doing the daily workout hch starts. So far, I'm at 0.02. Hmmmmm. Should work on that. Been reading various check-in, trying to decide which to join.

I will still be around though.
Thanks to this stressful year, I spent much less time on forums BUT I exercised a whole lot more, which was amazing for me. Unfortunately I kept injuring myself in minor ways so, as Tara mentions, I also spent more time reading, writing and exploring other outlets. A much needed break from being online so much!

I really hope to post more often this year as I miss this place and its members. But I have to say I don't think my workout choices are discussion-worthy, as I very rarely buy anything new and just use my 'vintage' workouts over and over. So there's not much excitement going on. My enthusiasm for scouting out new videos has been replaced with a just-get-it-done consistency while I tackle other areas in my life. But it's serving me for now.

On that note - happy new year everyone!! May you achieve your goals, fitness and otherwise!!

I've started posing more frequently. As someone previously mentioned, I often feel like I'm a "thread killer." If this one dies following this post, maybe I'll just keep my comments to myself.

Lol, I’m posting so I might end up being the thread killer! I often feel like a thread killer here on GD which is why I generally stick to my check ins.

I'm thinking of TV shows where one investigator will say to another one "I know that guy, he's a cop killa" (evil sneer).

Sometimes, posters will look at the bottom of the thread and think "why bother contributing - she's a thread killa (wicked sneer).
