Nothing to add holliholli915, but I plan on starting a KBKB rotation tomorrow, if my knee holds up. I will be using dumbbells, as I don't have a kettlebell. I hope to get similar results yours. Which series are you using?

I can't add even the remotest bit of insight to your situation, but I hope you don't mind me chiming in to thank you for the positive words about KBKB. I've been sitting on KBKB for awhile now (JUST coming off of a long "break"); I've been easing myself slowly back in to things, but they are first on my list for when I feel conditioned enough to do something more challenging. I'm thrilled they've worked so wonderfully for you and selfishly hope they do the same for me.

Sometimesa long slow practice like yin can release toxins and make you feel a bit ill for a while, like they've been built up in 1 spot. I have nothing to back this up here, but have heard it often for different types of things, and have often felt it myself. Maybe its built up lactic acid or something? Maybe you need an active rest day somewhere in between of a long walk or something to allow that stuff to move on out? I might be making no sense, but my gut says its true, lol

Yes, and the day I did the yoga was my rest day. It's rreeaallyy slow. So, I doubt I overexerted anything. Or, maybe the lactic acid was released during yoga? That's an interesting theory. I could go for that because it seemed like my body was replenishing it again or something during my kb workout. Last edited by holliholli915; 03-13-16 at 09:52 PM. Reason: typos |
