Most Used Instructors/Series of 2021

I enjoyed Laurajhawk's thread she started so much last year, that I thought it'd be cool to have another one for 2021. It was fun to look back and see which instructors I used the most in 2020 and this past year. (This time I was prepared and kept track every month!). Here is the thread she started at the beginning of 2021:

http://www.videofitness.com/~vfwnk/f...d.php?t=230128

I will be back with my totals for 2021....these are the # of days with each instructor...sometimes I did more than one workout on a given day with the same instructor.

(Meditation = 365 days)

1) Cathe/Cathe Live/Mobility 124 days
2) YT Mady Morrison 91 (Back Pain Relief stretch for 99% of that total)
3) YT Yvette Fit.com 65
4) YT Michelle Goldstein (Yin Yoga) 48
5) Yard Work/Shovel Max 46 (more yard work than SM)
6) YT Heather Robertson 38
7) Travis/Lauren/IDT Yoga 32
8) YT Olivia Lawson 28
9) Mari Winsor (Winsor Buns & Thighs) 26
tie YT Five Parks Yoga 26
10) Kelly Coffey Meyer 16
11) Les Mills On Demand 15
tie Elliptical 15
12) YT Fitness with PJ 12
tie Jari Love 12

Great finds this year:
YT Mady Morrison
YT Olivia Lawson
Elliptical (until heel pain developed)

8x or under (mostly YT):
2 Birds Yoga 8
Strong Knees dvd 8
Barre 3 5
C Doerner 4
Jessica Valant 4
Bar Method 3
Treadmill 2
Tramp It Rebounder 1
Penny Barnshaw 1
Amy's Beach Fitness 1
Stacey Lei Krauss 1
Growingannanas 1
James Crossley 1
Vera LaRo 1
Caroline Girvan 1
Yoga with Bird 1
Debbie Seibers TBS 1
Sagi 1
RC Fitness 1
Jason Chiew 1
Fitness_kaykay 1

Total workout minutes for 2021=30,039 (which includes meditation and yard work minutes). I'm pretty sure that was up from last year...can't find my overall totals of 2020 right now.

My list for 2020 and 2021 pretty much were in sync for instructors used. And happy to report, I reached
my goal to include 1 rest day in my weeks. Still working on my weight loss goal (always!) and have
about 10# to go.

Goal for 2022: Keep joints happy and strive to improve balance (not just in workouts but in overall health aspects as well) and to keep working on that weight loss.

Kelly Coffey-Meyer and Jessica Smith

All the rest are yoga websites or books.

Ohhh, I'm so glad someone posted this thread. I really liked tabulating my results from 2020 and I changed how I logged my workouts this past year so my tallying would be easier this year.

My total workouts for 2021 totaled 224. I injured my back in August so that set me back, but otherwise, I'm pleased.

My most frequent form of exercise this year was walking by far. My most used instructor was Cathe again. I did 34 Cathe workouts this year (but way down from 73 workouts with Cathe in 2020). My next most used instructor was Travis Eliot with 17 yoga practices. After that, I jumped way down to 5 times for Amy Bento and 4 times for Charlene Prickett. The majority of the instructors I used were for one or two workouts. I guess you can say I like variety!

Curious to hear what others report.

Oh, thank you for starting this! I tabulate mine every year but hadn’t thought about it yet. I’ll be back to report in.

Lucy Wyndham-Read and Kassandra Reinhardt (Yoga with Kassandra) for sure.

To a lesser extent Margaret Richard, Alice Bracegirdle and Jane Fonda.

I noticed in last year's discussion that I'd been on a Kathy Smith and KCM hiatus - that continued in 2021.

Worked out with these three so often that I don't want to see them again anytime soon:
  • Cathe
  • Jessica Smith
  • Lauren Brooks

I believe mine was XTFMax workouts and, surprisingly Jillian Michales. I was two weeks out from completing Jillian's Body Revolution 90-day rotation.

Of the 365 days I worked out last year, most were Cathe for weights and Ellen/Jackie B on Zoom for stretch/fusion/Essentrics. New discovery for strength was KCM. I also did some Firm and Jessica Smith. I also walked 3 miles 6 days a week with hubby.
