We drove home from my father-in-law's yesterday and started binge watching Supernatural and I forgot to do my yoga. I'm proud of myself for doing it there on Fri and Sat though, which pretty much never happens!

12/27/21 - Day 7 - Yoga with Kassandra's newest, Yoga for Flexibility Deep Stretch Vinyasa. I had to modify just a little bit of down doggy stuff, the rest was blissful and very nice after all the sitting around socializing all weekend.

Hello everyone! I was offline for a few days for the holidays and also for a purge of my belongings - a sort of "Swedish death cleaning". I only did a few minutes of yoga on my own to stretch out at the end of each day. Now returning to my "regularly scheduled program".

Donna - It depends on if you want to pay. Dean has a YouTube channel and has a 6-day series you could try out for free. If you do pay for his "Mission: Daily Yoga Challenge", then you get access to his private channel. There are quite a few programs on that. Waiting for the Mission: Daily program to start, I'm doing the Strength Fundamentals. It is brutal! for me, at least. It's all about activating and engaging the teeny tiny muscles you use for stabilization in yoga poses. He gets you into a "pose" and then you hold it for 30 seconds, some up to a minute. In today's "workout", there was a movement for the TFL (see below). I could do it with my left leg, but I literally could not engage it at all on the right leg. It must be sound asleep lol! Maybe that's why I've had so much trouble with my right leg ...

*TFL definition: The tensor fasciae latae (TFL) is a muscle that attaches at the top of your iliotibial (IT) band and is a vital muscle that helps stabilize the hip and knee. If we're getting really technical, it assists with internal rotation, flexion, and abduction of the hip.

Altar on the Heart is definitely on my list for when I start my sadhana on 1/1!
