The current price of dumbbells is outrageous! I ordered some online, changed my mind (and tried to cancel) but product had already shipped.

I wanted some in-between sizes, too! 4's, 6's , 9's, etc.

I have Power Blocks that I use for heavier weights but they aren't comfortable in the hands, so rarely use them.

My guess is Five Below, may have a couple smaller or regular sizes.

My favorite weights are my Reebok brand that I purchased at Target years ago. They no longer sell them which is too bad. I'd prefer that all my weights match!

I saw 6 pounds at Target about six months ago, and snatched them up. I use them a lot, so am glad I did.

I have 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and a 15 pound kettlebell. I would like to get 7 and 12, but the prices are kind of steep. I did see one 12 at Walmart for about $15. I should have grabbed it, but I was afraid I wouldn't find the other one.

Oooh, great find! I'll have to pop in sometime. My Dollar General is hit or miss...(though bags of cat food were buy 2/get 1 free this week)
I'm taking my teens to 5Below next week after an orthodontist appt, so I'll look and see what they've got.

I had no idea they had weights! I will be making a stop there!

I’m always amazed when I hear this kind of story.
How does this happen? I mean, who buys one weight??

Guilty as charged

When it came to buying my 20lb weights, I bought just one at Walmart because I was a poor college student and I really only needed the one because I only needed it to do one-armed rows or those lying back pullover things where you're lying back on the step platform, holding one weight between two hands and extending it back over your head and then pulling over (I was doing Cathe's pyramid upper body a lot back then).

A couple years later when I moved back home, it seemed lonely and odd just to have the one 20lb-er at the end of my row of paired off dumbbells, and I like things to match and even though walmart doesn't seem to change the styling of their plain silver cast iron dumbbells, I was like, I better get a mate for this lone 20lb-er. Plus one day I may work up to the point where I need them both for biceps or whatever.

I must have at some point, because my 3s and my 5s are mismatched (different brands). The 5s don't bother me but my 3s feel different so I'm tempted to replace them with a proper, matching set.

I don’t know! Or maybe they ordered an odd number.

Okay, I should have read the next posts, lol.

I'm guilty of this, too! I bought one 25 pound dumbbell from Walmart just to be nice to the delivery person and planned to buy the second one later. Well, Walmart goofed up and sent a pair of 25 pound dumbbells to me, so the delivery person wasn't spared lifting a heavy box. And they only charged me for one dumbbell, so I got a great deal!
