There hasn't been a lot of responses with what has actually worked during perimenopause, which is where I think I've been for about four years now. More responses have been that these symptoms have improved after menopause, but for those of us still in the depths of peri, did any strategies work during those peri years? I feel like I've tried absolutely everything, and I'm now just at a loss as to what to do.

Hang in there, Lori! No one has the magic bullet for what has worked but you're doing the right thing- mixing things up to find what works for YOU. I can relate to a lot of what you've said in this thread. I eat healthier and exercise more, but it is a lot harder to lose weight. Fat deposits have definitely shifted to the mid-section/upper body. I do agree with what Cheri said about cardio intensity; my body doesn't like it like it used to. Lower impact cardio seems to work better for me. I've started a Chalean Extreme rotation and curious to see if heavy lifting will help me get over my plateau!
