Hi Everyone!

Cynthia
My arm was still sore this morning but that seems to be gone now.

Question: Which vaccine did everyone get and did you have any effects after the second shot? DH had no side effects after and he got the Pfizer. I also got the Pfizer. I know a lady who took 5 days to get over the second shot. Everyone is different.

Check-In: 50 minute outdoor walk & CS Lose a pant size

Have a Blessed evening!

I got Pfizer, DD got Moderna. From what I've heard from people I know, Moderna has a greater incidence of side effects, especially after the 2nd shot.

I have been feeling a bit odd after my vertigo treatment, but no vertigo. I went back for a follow up and the audiologist said some people take a few weeks feeling a bit disoriented because the brain needs time to get used to things, but I do not have vertigo. She said to go back to normal activities (for a couple days I was supposed not to lie flat and avoid moving my head much vertically, so as to make sure the crystals stayed in place). I was also tired, so I took it easy on the exercise and had to let up on my shoulder PT stretches. Anyway today just did barre 3 10 minutes, but will get back to the normal stretches now.

Cheryl, things seem really cheap there. I know about the lack of tips in Europe. Usually you round up a bit and that's it.

Diana, we had Pfizer and had very little side effects other than a sore arm and a bit of tiredness, more on the second round. Younger people tend to have more side effects from what I have heard (and I also heard Moderna had more side effects too).

Cynthia, glad you are feeling better.

I did work out today and yesterday, but we've been a bit busy. Yesterday I did a video from a new-to-me workout instructor (Well+Good). It was a band workout for the upper body, using the long band, and it was good. Today I did two Blogilates workouts, an outer thigh and an inner thigh challenge. And we walked a ton, and up a lot of hills. I have about 15k steps right now. I have realized the quality of the steps is very important when it comes to weight. I think all the hills and long strides have a bigger effect than the walking (including incidental walking) that I was doing before.

Diana, we had the Pfizer and had the same effects as each other. Sore arm and quite tired after the first shot, and the same after the second but less so. Not too bad.

Lynn, that treatment sounds disorienting, but then the condition sounds even more so. I hope it helps a lot!

Cynthia, I'm glad you caught that infection before it got too bad.

Waving to Linda!

Didn't feel energetic enough to swim today, but later I put in a DVD. My first Bollywood. I was in the mood for something different, lightweight, and a bit silly. I bought the Bar Bhangra set last week from totalfitness, and Mary mailed it priority! Got it today and enjoyed it. Simple dancey movements with light toning using the 1-lb sticks. I took it a little slower than they did and reduced the impact which cropped up occasionally.

Hi Everyone!

I need to do some CS but it's getting late so I will have to pass on that tonight. I have noticed that I'm not as stiff and sore when I do CS. I really need to get in a better routine of doing a CS earlier in the day. I seem to run out of time during the day and try to tack it on at night. I need better planning.

Check-In: 1 hour outdoor walk

Have a Blessed evening!

Check-in: Day one of Denise's 14-day summer slimmer free challenge. It started July 5 and I saved the links although I didn't do it. Was pleased today to find that the links still work. This one was on youtube, they probably all are. I think this will be a good active recovery for me.
