I LOVE that workout

Yes! It's probably my favorite step workout. I wish I had transferred it to DVD in my combo player/recorder before the DVD part died!

Yesterday's vintage/dustbunny workout was the original Body Pump (1999) with Dr. Jackie Mills.

I had forgotten about the many reps and went a bit too heavy for the chest. I had to get lighter weights! Jackie's enthusiasm and the good music make this a fun workout!

Sounds fun, I never heard of this one before.

I forgot to put the year the workout was produced, 1999. I don't think it was ever put on DVD. I was excited when it came out because I thought that workouts would start having better music in general. Um, that didn't happen.

Here are the VF reviews:

Recently did Kathy Smith's pilates for abs and her Fat burning breakthrough step workouts.

The pilates for abs is a favorite for the instruction reminders and the sequence. Always good to go back and hear beginner instructions.

Even though this is a 2002 production, the FBB video isn't sharp but is done outdoors. Yes Kathy gets a bit whoopee and oowwee but it has some great aspects about it.

First, there is a modifier doing the entire step workout on the floor. I need to remember the floor is always an option!

Secondly, there are modifications shown to increase the intensity or complexity. I don't need the complications, haha, but I do love adding the intensity. It's not too complex for my two left feet so I can give it some oomph.

Third, and finally, it's pretty easy to FFWD over the strength and abs chapters. With warmup and cooldown, this is a great 30ish step workout.

I had Fat Burning Breakthrough on VHS back in the day and I have thought to reaquire it on DVD. I remember liking the step portion of it but don't remember much about the strength part. I'm not so great at advanced step and I remember this workout being a good intermediate level.

I did Fat Burnng Breakthrough this morning. I like it a lot - I love the fact it was filmed outdoors. I didn’t think Kathy whooped at all in this one. I like pulling out workouts I haven’t done in a long time.

Gams She only does a few times. It's not the Kathy in the LWTLW

I am glad you enjoyed too!

Wendy it's a workout also available on Kathy's Fat Burning Pilates DVD if you ever see that workout. (Not really sure why)
