Thinking of Cheryl and her family flying to their new adventure.

Lynn, yay for reaching the back seat.

Diana, I hope the church picnic was fun. I like indoors for meals. Outside always looks like more fun than it is -- heat, wind, insects etc.

Today is a Brett rest day. I swam laps and did KB swings.

yoga class (my teacher is off for the rest of July) and barre 3 30 minutes (started a 15 day challenge) plus some gardening. And the stretching, though I am a bit behind and we have some guests coming over. I am tired!

Linda, I am sorry to hear about the issues with your arm. It is frustrating when doctors don't tell you things at the time you needed to know them and it is hard to know what side effects could have been caused by the vaccine. DH thought he had some residual arm pain from the vaccine and one doctor thought that might be true and another not. I have frozen shoulder, by the way.

Cynthia, yes being able to get something from and to the back seat ends up being useful. And I agree that eating outdoors sometimes does not work out as well as one hopes. I remember an outdoor wedding banquet where the main activity was passing around mosquito repellant. Everyone was getting eaten alive.

Sending out good thoughts to Cheryl for their trip. Feeling sympathetic jet lag!

I was signed up for the Barre 3 challenge, and did day 1, but today's was live and not until 11 am, which is too late in the day for my am workout. All the rest of the week is either live or not up now, so I couldn't shift around. So I just did a 15 minute workout and my stretches and decided to do the challenge one day later than the group. I have PT later in the day anyway.

Diana, sounds like you got a lot in yesterday!

Reporting back that the PT was horrible again. The therapist, who is a chiropractor, I learned, said I had made great progress, but after the session, which was short (a few exercises, and then the manipulation, which was really painful), I could hardly drive home, my arm hurt so much. I have to tell him it's too much next time. I got home and collapsed onto my heating pad and fell asleep. DH made dinner, thankfully.

ouch, Lynn. Yes, you must tell him that pain is much different from discomfort, &/or ask for a different PT.

I've been puttering around today. Did my swings but am waiting for it to cool off before I deal with Brett. I did some errands and finished knitting a hat for my friend who's coming to visit. That way I won't have to mail it.
