I really liked that book as well. It led me to look up the rest of her books and throw them on my wish list.

I'm reading Die Trying by Lee Child. I also started Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins which I thought was the complete book from the library but it is only the summary. If I like the summary, I'll get the complete book. I've been on waitlist from the library for many months for Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey and it just came in today. My waitlist holds often come when I already have several books going.

Just picked up Ready Player two at the library. Somehow I missed reading this one. Here's hoping it's better than his second book. I liked Ready Player One well enough that I've re-read it a number of times, but my expectations are fairly low here.

Editing to add: now that I've started it, I remember having skimmed this some time back. Sigh. I'm giving it a real read through this time. Not as entertaining as RP1, but I'll give it a go for now.

I continue reading The Glass Throne and am enjoying it a lot. I started The Venice Sketchbook by Rhys Bowen.

Getting in some quality reading because the whole family is sick.

Just finished All Creatures Great and Small (James Herriot). I'll probably finish this series after I finish the below.

Now I'm working my way through some freebies from Kindle Unlimited (got the $5/2months deal from Prime Day). The Vine Witch series (Luanne Smith) is what I'm currently reading.

Waiting impatiently for the new Becky Chambers (Psalm for the Wild Built, Monk and Robot #1)

Reading Austen's Northanger Abbey, and listening to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen on MP3 and Mythos by Stephen Fry on Audio CD.

After reading Meg & Jo, I am picking up Beth & Amy from the library today. I also started reading Caged Lion, a biography of Joseph Pilates recommended by Linda here on VF.

I read The Restoration of Celia Fairchild by Marie Bostwick. I really enjoyed this book, the first of hers in a while. The last few I enjoyed okay, but were ultimately kind of disappointing.

Now, I'm reading The Venice Sketchbook by Rhys Bowen, a good historical novel with a mystery twist, and The Cold Dish by Craig Johnson, the first Longmeyer book.

And oh, yeah, I did FINALLY finish David Copperfield. A good story, but the tail end was very slow and long. Whew.

Currently re-reading other stuff that I enjoy just because it's familiar. Insomnia-wise, it's easier to doze off if I know what's coming, LOL!
