I wonder if this is the same facility that my packaged stopped at. I mailed a dvd to someone and it sat....forever. Luckily she called the post office and found out about the spill. Another time I mailed a purse that traveled throughout the northeast, zigzagging ALL OVER for about a month before making it's way to Pennsylvania. I could've driven it there faster.

LOL! Compared to your travels, mine wasn't so bad. I recently tracked a package that originated somewhere in the midwest. It would have made sense to send it west towards my direction, instead it went all the way to New Jersey. Then it came back and was in my city, but then they sent it out of state. I miraculously got it the next day.

I ordered from Thriftbooks for the first time (after VFers raved about it!). The books were shipped from a suburb just 35 minutes from me. But first they went to a USPS facility in York, PA (over an hour from me), then onto Harrisburg, PA (even further), and now back down to a USPS center in the exact same suburb from which the books were originally shipped. I hope to receive them tomorrow. Like others have suggested, I could've stopped and picked them up on my way home from work.
