Saturday I went to my friend's house. We hung out eating and watching movies. It was a really fun day. Sunday and yesterday I was pretty much couch-bound with dizziness and headaches, though. Feeling better today, although not 100% yet.

I have the baby blanket done (again...had to tear out pretty much the whole thing bc of an error I made in the beginning and didn't notice) up to the point of adding the border. Feels so good to have it looking good now! Thankfully I was able to crochet while I was dizzy since it didn't require a lot of movement. I hope to have it all done and mailed soon.

I finished my jump rope challenge last week, as well as the 25 days of holiday Zumba. It will be nice to not have to stack so many jump rope workouts in a day now, plus I will have time for other types of workouts. I was glad to finish the Zumba one bc well, I'm over Christmas. I'm planning to start running and weight training again March 10th, and still working through the old 30-day challenges I haven't finished yet. I ordered a beaded jump rope so I'm excited to get that. I have more of a speed rope and sometimes it kinks.

I've been listening to spring training games as I'm able. So excited to have baseball back!!

March Thread

Sorry I'm late with it.

This past week has just been one sweltering day after the other - only Wednesday was less hot, at 92. The rest were all 95-101.

Could barely walk Alice - just took her to closest park to poo & we had a LOT of games of tug in the A/C-room after work.

Need to be quick as jumping (finally) with kathryn in 15min, need to setup, change, find something....
but
VANNIE - well done on the Jump Rope challenge - going great!
LILI - LOooooveeed CIA workouts (well... still do!) So cool to have seen those eagles.
CLEDA - Checked the members list for you to find which one you're on - it's the Proboards one, NOT TapaTalk.
Both are linked for you.

Helen: This made me smile. I have BEEN to the TapaTalk forum many, many times (I recognize the picture on the front). But then go, "Nah ... I don't need another place, sign in, password, etc." and leave. I suppose I should probably register. . . . The other board? DEFINITELY! so sorry about the heat.

Waves to Lili & Ventreesta. I have to check in and get over to March.

February was better than January, but I kind of fizzled out at the end of the month. March has begun so I'll make more an effort in that check in. But, Feb is better than Jan and Jan. is better (I think) then December, so I am improving and I'll take it.

2/25/2024: REST DAY
2/26/2024: REST DAY

2/27/2024: 20 mins. Row with Nick (Hydrow), 20 mins. 70s ride with Bradley Rose (must have been in a rush, cuz didn't do a cool down or stretch)

2/28/2023: KCM's Train Like a Contender: 20 mins. (then I was just out of gas), 15 mins. Bradley Rose recovery ride + 10 mins. Bradley add on & 5 mins. Bradley Post Ride Stretch

2/29/2023: Rest day
(had an early doctor's appointment and was going out of town to visit relatives!)

That's it .... on to March which will be better than Feb. which was better than Jan. which was better than Dec. You get the idea!!!

Not sure why I get so easily exhausted from workouts any more. I swear it's ever since I had covid. So I have to ask myself, is it real? Is it from Covid? Is it from something else? Who knows .... but yikes .
