I second that, and add Firm Basics and Hip Hop Abs and the Powerfits.

Mental break

For me, I throw these in when I just don't feel like working out...

My Personal Best workout with Karen Voight (love the music & background)
Wedding workout with Cathe
Ballet Physique - Amped Up
UY - Yin Yoga with Travis

I always feel 'mentally' better after doing any of these workouts. Gotta have an easy day every now and then.

PS - it looks like the Personal Best workout is up for grabs on the 'share the wealth' thread

Oh another for me! My 90s 'supermodel' workouts are actually some of my beloved favorites: Elle, Cindy and Claudia. I'm so glad I have them on DVD. Effective but relaxing workouts, beautiful cinematography, fun music.

Do they still sell Yoga Booty Ballet? Or is it more something you find on trade, amazon, and ebay?

I do have to say that on teh odd day that I do feel like doing an intense workout, I find that I haven't lost and endurance or strength over the past few months. Any experts know why that is? Is is it because I am still exercising consistently with occasional intensity challenges to maintain?

I have been doing Jari's with lighter weights. I have no dread factor to do her workouts and feel great when I am done. I actually look forward to working out instead of talking myself into it. Peggy

That's great, Peggy! I've been modifying some workouts around an injury this year and am finding them a lot more fun too (for example, just take some of the jumpiness out of Rockout Knockout. Fun!) Most workouts can be taken down a peg or ten, but some of them translate better that way than others.

I also think Rockin' Body would work for the OP. Also waist hula-hooping, Anni Mairs and plain ol' walking. I'm a fan of Amy's Hip Hop Walk, though I know it wasn't a big hit here. Just expect a walking workout, not a dance-oriented one and you might like it too. Disco Dojo is probably a little less intense than what you wanted, but I like it too. He's so silly; it's hard not to love it a little.
