Sadly, I think this gets worse as we get older. I have to wear those "leak" pads whenever I do a higher impact workout such as Firm Super Cardio Any kind of jumping or jogging in place is a problem for me.
Yes, I had to wear pads a lot too. In karate class we do 50 jumping jacks in a row as part of our warmups. I *had* to wear a pad and sometimes I was worried that even that wouldn't be enough. It's amazing that I can go to class without any type of liner at all now.

I have been doing some reading on smart balls and I'm thinking maybe I should try them out....although I do feel a little weird about it, but if they could help...why not! Also, I ordered a book about exercises for the pelvic floor as well as a dvd called InControl: Pelvic Exercises for Women. Can you tell I'm determined to fix this problem! I just hope it works! I checked out the preview of the Anna Benson dvds and I am not too keen on her as an instructor??? She seems creepy to me for some reason
Don't think anyone's mentioned this yet, but there's also the Kegelmaster - a device that improves internal muscle strength using progressive resistance (15 resistance levels). I don't know anyone who's tried it, but Teri Hatcher raved about it on the Tonight Show to Jay Leno. If you google Kegelmaster you'll find several websites. One of them offers a triple money back guarantee.
