Nice!!!! They sound AWESOME!!

I love bell bottoms too! They were before my time as I'm Gen X but they came back in style! In fact, I just bought a pair from Old Navy this winter!! They are not quite as wide (unfortunately) as the originals and they are called "Flare" now.

I tried to get a leotard with the tights but the only ones I have found were costumes.

There is just something about the old school floor aerobics that seems like so much fun! I have all 6 classic Firms but they are like the "Stepford Wives" compared to the hooting and hollering of the aerobics people! None of the exercise background people in the Firm like ever break a smile (very serious) versus the whooping of the 80s and 90s aerobics ladies! I want fun!! I want to whoop and go "oh yeah" as I grapevine into oblivion!!!

You can get leotards and tights from dance supply stores. They are still worn in dance class.

I bought a couple pair of jeans from Old Navy several years ago that are more of a bell bottom. I'm actually not sure if they still fit right now either. Unfortunately they are so long I can only wear them with my high heel boots. I loved wearing my college ones with sandals. I don't know the generation names but I'm 46, so wherever that puts me! Last year I bought pants at Walmart that are stretchy, not denim, and in different prints that are a wide flare. I love them plus they're comfy! But again can only wear with my highest heeled boots.

I don't know if it's considered steady state cardio but if you can find Denise Austin Kickin' With Country (can't remember if that's the exact title) line dance workout it is still a favorite of mine. When I hear the songs that are in it I immediately want to do the workout. Same with Cher's Hot Dance.

Yeah, my Old Navy ones are tall for me too but I refuse to wear heels anymore. So, they just drag on the ground.

I found the country one at Amazon. I actually love Country music. Thank you!!!

I went through my collection and found these. Unfortunately I think that steady state hi/lo was on the decline when a lot of stuff shifted to DVD. Kathy Smith put a lot of her older workouts on DVD but most instructors didn’t.

Kathy Smith:

Fat Burning Classics, 3 workouts
Strong, Sleek and Slim, 3 workouts
Super Slimdown Circuit, 1 upper body, 1 lower body and 1 hi/lo
Shed the Pounds, 3 workouts

Charlene Prickett. - most of her hi/lo didn’t get put on DVD and they are very, very hard to find.

Low Impact, High Intensity
Stand up and Be Some Body - 2 half hour hi lo workouts

Mindy Mylrea - this is a dvd combo of two of her VHS that were put on DVD.

DVD Combo Action Packed and Interval Express. AP has two workouts, one step and one hi/lo. IE is step, medicine ball, short hi/lo section at the end.

Amy Bento (more complicated choreography and intensity) Hi/lo Dome Challenge and Cardio Pump Hi/lo.

Tracy York and Michelle Dozois Work It Off Cardio Dance

Michelle Dozois, Rockin’ Body Cardio Jam

Christi Taylor (in addition to the others already mentioned)

Cardio Collectibles, 30 minute step and 30 minutes hi/lo
Mission Possible, half hi/lo and half step
Humble Beginnings- 3 older workouts, all of which are half hi/lo and half step

Hope that gives you some more options.

I pulled this one out after reading your post and did the Pilates earlier this week and the cardio dance today. The cardio is so fun! It's been a while since I've done this workout, but I remembered some of the moves. Thanks for mentioning it!

I've been searching for steady state cardio also. While my recommendation isn't really retro, I think it fits the bill for steady state cardio
