NYT article on fitness industry

Interesting article about the fitness industry re: gyms and clubs and the pandemic. Mentioned that many did "virtual" or DIY workouts at home, but not one single mention of workout DVDs! Are we vidiots becoming extinct?

Hi everyone,

I don't think we are extinct. Maybe on the endangered list.

When many folks got rid of their DVD players and DVDs that was one major change. Then I guess a large portion of the exercising population did not even know about DVDs unless they remember their parents using exercise DVDs. Outside of my exercise dvds and our DD childhood DVDs (Disney, etc.), our collection of DVD is limited in number.

Hi Acey!

I think the article's subject was more about what clubs are doing to stay relevant with exercisers. So they're not really going to offer a DVD.
Or at least I think that's why we were ignored.
