Denise Austin WalkingPad Treadmill on HSN

Denise has several shows on HSN today selling her new WalkingPad Treadmill. The sale price for today only will be $499. She’ll also be selling her fitness shoes.

I saw the show and had concerns about the quality and durability of the treadmill. It also seemed overpriced to me.

Cool. I might have tried it if it were cheaper. It looks like it's only a step above a manual treadmill in features. Doesnt look worth $700 at regular price nor $500 at the sale.

If this were my first treadmill and I lived in a small space, I might consider it.

But with the advance of technology, I like a treadmill that has all the bells and whistles. My Nordictrack is iFIT compatible (subscription based) and the iFIT programs and trainers are the reason that I get on my treadmill every day for motivation.

If you were going to catch up on TV programs or podcasts, this might be okay. But, one of the downsides is the short platform. Denise is so adorable, she could probably sell anything but keep in mind she's a shortie, haha!

Everything on HSN/QVC always seems overpriced for what they are. I am a sucker for bargains...One Day Only, TSV, clearance pricing, etc.

As far as shoes, the pricing on the Easy Spirit website is better than some of the HSN pricing. I bought too many shoes the last time Denise was on air.

Interesting - at 5’4” I’ve always considered Denise to be of average height.

Maybe I just assumed she was short, lol. When she stands next to some of the hosts (or her daughters) she seems tiny.

I wouldn't think this would be a good purchase for a female/male with long legs.

I should have fact checked, haha!

PS. I put the purple/silver one in my cart just a few minutes ago and it said only 17 were left in-stock.

I don't think I would do it because the price is too high for something that you haven't seen up close. Go out and look at treadmills at second hand stores. Ask to test them out.

You can probably return it if you don't like it, but postage would be very high.
