Thank you! I wrote to do that. Hopefully I will get a response next week.

Whoa, I’d never seen that before. It looks incredibly unstable!

What Cathe is on looks more stable for sure.

Just my opinion, but I don't think she will use all that equipment in the same workout, so I would hold off on cancelling until she gives a bit more information. I have always been big on substituting if I don't have some of the equipment. Rags are fine instead of discs, chair if no tower or barre, dumbbells instead of a barbell. In the past she has had options for a stability ball--I think Brenda used a step in one exercise and a light dumbbell instead of the ball in another exercise. Of course I don't know any secret information, and I wouldn't be happy either if she uses 5 different pieces of equipment in the same workout.

fatkat555, I plan on substituting my seriously underutilized BOSU in place of balance disks. I don't plan on buying new equipment and I have neither balance disks nor yoga blocks.

I think I will just do the exercises without the disc-from a promo I saw her doing bird dogs in one, and I think stationary lunges in another. I have enough trouble keeping my balance in those 2 exercises without a disc!! Since these are stationary and not sliding discs it shouldn't be a problem to just do the exercises without them. I do have all the other equipment she mentioned. That said, honestly, how complex and "gadgety" do workouts have to get these days?

As this is supposed to be "a gentler system", Cathe will most likely include simpler/easier options for higher intensity and difficult balancing exercises. Also to broaden her sales of the DVDs I'm sure a lot of this equipment will be listed as "optional".

After reading her descriptions and the equipment she will use, I think I’ll go ahead with my preorder. I have faith that Cathe will put out a quality product, and I don’t expect all of the equipment listed will be used in every workout. Quite honestly, I have all of the equipment listed except a tower and those discs. I do have an outdoor area where I have attached ballet barres if it came to that, but I generally use my bed’s footboard.

I also have a BOSU that never sees the light of day, but I don't have much space in my workout area, so I may end up buying a balance disc. I already have gadgets galore, though.

I saw a response from Cathe on FB about the balance discs. Unfortunately, I can’t find that response so I can paste it verbatim here, but it was along the lines that she’s not sure if she’ll be using the balance discs in the workouts and if they are, it might just be in the bonuses. She couldn’t give a definitive response because everything is still in development.

I agree with others that Cathe is likely to give options. I think this is especially true for these workouts that acknowledge that we’re active people who want to remain active despite some limitations/changes we may experience.

I have a green balance disc that came with a Tina-led Firm workout, and that's the only time it's gotten any use. I'd be glad to have an excuse to drag it out again.

I preordered right away, I'm excited for these!

Has anyone seen where Cathe may have talked about the last day to preorder this series at its current price? I'm preordering, just probably not until the last minute
