Recommendations for a stationary bike?

I am looking for a sturdy, not-to-expensive (maybe $500-ish) stationary bike that doesn't take up too much space.

Any recommendations would be welcomed!

Thanks!

Here’s a link to the Peloton vs. competitors thread that may be helpful.

Here’s what I posted in that thread.

Jessica Valant, a Pilates instructor on YouTube posted this video on why she chose a Schwin over the Peloton.

Coincidentally this is the bike that I have. I bought it on Amazon for $450 in 2019. It’s now $599. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Peloton but it’s sufficient for what I need.

Are you looking for a spin-bike style bike? I purchased the Flex Bike Ultra (not a spin-bike) about 5 years ago that I'm happy with. It has 3 different settings that change it from an upright to a recumbent bike. The seat is very comfy. QVC is still selling them and FitNation has its own website as well. There may be similar bikes on Amazon too.

Definitely check 2nd hand stores and garage sales. Often you can find one for a good price. I was in Play It Again Sports the other day and they had a spin bike that looked barely used. The only reason I didn't buy it was because I already have a bike I like.
