Strong Bear/WHFN Rotation - OMG!!!

I just completed Strong Bear as the first day of my WHFN *Recovery* week - NOT!!! I just came off 3 weeks of Cathe Gymstlye plus 30 minutes daily cardio lite - Strong Bear is HARD but in a totally different way from Cathe - it's like they took every hard move and found a way to make it harder - standing on one leg while doing dumbell upper body moves etc. Mercifully the sets were short and usually only one or two sets.

It was basically fun and the music was fabulous - BUT I think if this workout were any less cool the dread factor would keep me from ever wanting to do it. However these workouts are so beautiful you just HAVE to make the effort. They are truly magical!

I was constantly having to readjust myself and/or the high step in my small space to make room for my legs to sweep or to dip back or whatever, but I was glad to have an excuse to catch my breath. BTW I recently purchased a puzzle mat (multicolored) and this is the first time I've done plyos on them - they seemed to make a BIG difference!

I agree. This workout is tough! The posts that I've read that have said that this workout is too easy, leaves me almost speechless.

I don't have the new ones yet (I'll get them soon), but the old Strong Bear always left me with DOMS - it was very tough. I didn't even use that heavy of weights.

Wow, it's the morning after and I am sore in areas of my butt where I've never felt it before. I think it's from that move where you stand and raise one leg up to the side and hold it up. I really felt those in my butt.
