Which Kathy Smith compilation DVD should I keep?

I have both Kathy Smith's Personal Trainer and Rules of Fat burning DVDs.

Both seem to have nearly the same recycled footage from LWTLW1, Timesaver Cardio Fatburner.

Does anyone think keeping both is necessary for some reason?

You can program up to three segments in a row to make up a workout. She talks in the beginning about alternating long slow workouts with workouts containining intervals and fitting in weight training to boot. There are no warm ups, cool downs or stretches that I've seen (I only previewed sections). I guess you're on your own there. That is fine with me because I hate warm ups and cool downs and usually skip them (I know, I know, I'm BAD).

- lower body (20 minutes from Functionally Fit: Lower Body Firming),
- abs and back strengthening (5 minutes from Lift Weights to Lose Weight),
- yoga basics (30 minutes from New Yoga Basics), and
- cool down (7 minutes from Cardio Fat Burner).

Since I don't have most of the videos in either DVD, I'm wondering which is the better to get. Any suggestions?

There was a time when i had ROFB and then got rid of it because i already owned the individual parts. when PT initially came out, i chose not to get it because i had the individual parts. fast forward - came across each on separate buying trips at the thrift store and decided to get each when the occasion arose.

i reasoned that it was convenient to have them on one disk and provided a nice variety at your fingertips.

once i owned both, i did ROFB more and occasionally did PT.

You know I think I have ROFB because of the programming feature and for short cardio options. The lengths are perfect for me as add-ons.

.and then I have PT because I don't have either Timesaver Cardio Fatburner or her yoga basics and also wanted a DVD for warmups and cooldowns.

I'm going to write in a card to keep in the case so I don't forget, lol.

Thanks for reminding me bzar!

See, Linda? It's obvious you must keep both! (You had to know that would be my answer even without supporting reasons. )

Exactly. Her question was, "which should I keep?" and I immediately thought, "Yes."

LOL! FoLV, did you think any VFer would advise getting rid of a DVD?

just to add more fuel to the fire, you do know Kathy also released a whole bunch of non-programmable compilations that included 3 full-length workouts from her vintage years, right? if you click on the tag "Kathy Smith compilations" you'll see all of them.
