Kathy Smith's Rules of Fat Burning DVD - anyone have this yet????

A whole review isn't necessary, but I really really want to know what's on this dvd. Its 120 minutes so I know its not going to contain whole workouts, but I'm very curious. How long is each segment and what are they?

thanks

I wanna know too. Since Kathy Smith is on the lift weights train in a major way now I'm going to say I feel a lot of it's going to be on weight training and building muscle.

We'll see

I found a description that's it's a compilation of Kathy's toughest aerobic workouts so it's not original stuff.

Just got the DVD

It's segments from her older videos:

20 min. of Timesaver Cardio (first segment I think)

15 min. of Kickboxing

17 min. of Aerobox

20 min. of Functionally Fit Fat Burning

20 min. Upper Body Lift Weights to Lose Weight

20 min. Lower Body Lift Weights to Lose Weight

You can program up to three segments in a row to make up a workout. She talks in the beginning about alternating long slow workouts with workouts containining intervals and fitting in weight training to boot. There are no warm ups, cool downs or stretches that I've seen (I only previewed sections). I guess you're on your own there. That is fine with me because I hate warm ups and cool downs and usually skip them (I know, I know, I'm BAD).

Why the slice and dice?

Why is KS doin' the mixxy-matchy with her workouts? Just chapter them well, Kathy, and I will be happy!

I guess the mixxy-matchy thing she does is appealing to beginner exercisers. So more power to her, and to them, with those types of DVD's she's been creating.

Can anyone compare to her Personal Trainer DVD?

Kathy Smith also has a Personal Trainer DVD. According to Amazon.com, the segments include:

- warm-up (6 minutes from Functionally Fit: Peak Fat Burning),
- cardio (20 minutes from Cardio Fat Burner),
- upper body (20 minutes from Lift Weights to Lose Weight),
- lower body (20 minutes from Functionally Fit: Lower Body Firming),
- abs and back strengthening (5 minutes from Lift Weights to Lose Weight),
- yoga basics (30 minutes from New Yoga Basics), and
- cool down (7 minutes from Cardio Fat Burner).

Since I don't have most of the videos in either DVD, I'm wondering which is the better to get. Any suggestions?

Christine
