Dancing Queen - I'm guilty of not posting socially in this check-in, but I saw about your terrible marathon migraine and just want to say how sorry I am, and I hope you get relief soon.

What are you in PT for? I saw we're also PT sisters.

Thanks, Pat. I seem to be slowly on the mend - I'm having a migraine about every 4 days, which is SO much better than living in a state of perpetual headache, and I'm learning how to manage on those days. I've had a CT which shows nothing physically wrong and I have a neurology appt. scheduled in July, so I'm hopeful we'll figure this out. I'm currently resting my brain and my eyes a lot and only able to work 2-3 hours a day.

I have interstitial cystitis - perpetual inflammation in the bladder - so my pelvic floor muscles tend to be super tight. I do PT to relax those muscles and to reduce pelvic pain. My ideal long routine is 10 minutes a day, but I have a 4-minute bare-bones routine for maintenance and emergencies (like a migraine marathon).

What are you in PT for?

I somehow flared up an old hip flexor injury from about 15 years ago. It never quite healed and was "livable" until I tore the hip flexor. Between the severity of that injury and being on a waiting list for an ortho and physical therapist for a ridiculous time period, it developed bursitis, IT band strain and rotator muscles sprain, and piriformis syndrome. I'm starting my fourth and hopefully final round of PT next week. It's been tough and frustrating!

Best of wishes with your PT, wishing you success.
