Beryl Bender Birch has a new Astanga video/DVD

Beryl Bender Birch, the author of Power Yoga and Beyond Power Yoga, has a video/DVD that is about to be released! It looks like she will be teaching the Astanga primary series, full form and with modifications. Looks great, and will be available at the beginning of July. Her husband, Thom Birch, already has a 30-minute power yoga video, Power Yoga for Runners, which looks good as well. I haven't been able to do any of the more athletic/power yoga stuff for a while because many of the warrior and plank-based positions irritated my PF.

When this injury is 100 percent behind me, I plan to do more power yoga again. I know it's good for my body and state of mind. Let us know what you think of Beryls' video/DVD.

Kris or anyone -- have you tried Thom Birch's video?

I'm very excited! I was wondering when Beryl was coming out with a workout--- on DVD no less. Please give us a full review when you get it in. I need to pace myself--- as I just placed various orders this morning.

Unfortunately, I didn't order either Thom's video or Beryl's DVD until yesterday. And since the DVD isn't being released for a couple more weeks, I believe that they are holding the video to ship with the DVD.

I'll let you know how they both are as soon as I can!
