Who's up to do STS?

I need I mean I NEEEEDDD to get my crap together and finally get into a better state of health and wellness.

I've never actually done a full STS 3 month rotation. I've done the first meso and parts of the second, but never the whole thing.

I'm thinking of doing it half to prep for STS 2.0 and half cause I want to say I actually did a full 3 months of STS and half cause so many people have just gotten great fitness results from it. Yes, I know that adds up to more than 100%

Thought I'd see if anyone else was game to do STS.

Definitely!

I've done the whole things once, bar the last 3 weeks. Can't recall what brought me to a halt. That means, my old 1RM's will be listed somewhere, and could use them as a starting point - possibly need to go a tad lighter than that NOW though.

When did you have in mind to start?

³ Cardio for fun
⁴ Add stretch & balance.

In the next week or two. I have a decent idea what my 1RM are, at least for the big lifts so I can estimate the rest.

Not looking like anyone else is interested so far.

Are you closer to being ready to start?

On a Monday? 23rd (coming), 30th (a week further on), or
Wed, 1st of Feb (1st of new month)

I'm leaning towards the 30th. Might start with Meso 2 cause I low key hate Meso 1 LOL.

The 30th is great ! as it's my first proper week back at work. We go back next Friday (27th) but that's pupil-free. It'd be great to have something NON-work to focus on (something that MUST be done), to avoid wasting time OVER preparing for a fresh school year (SO easy to do).

Hmmm... I would prefer to start at Meso 1, but we don't need to do the same thing - just keep motivating each other to get OUR particular STS workout DONE.

I'm also thinking to follow the STS + Shock Cardio (includes Ab Circuits as well) Rotation that Cathe put out. I'll see how I go.....

I'll probably do 1-2 weeks of meso 1. I just hate it cause it moves to fast for me, esp with me being in kind of crappy shape lol.

But even when I was in good shape and did meso 1 it moved to fast for me.

I'd love to join. I did the STS rotation 10 years ago and got very strong. Life got in the way since and lots of on-again off again workouts. I'm rebuilding strength.

Did a practice run with the Meso 1 Week 1 workouts this week. Meso 1 isn't my favorite either, with all of the equipment changes. Even with getting my things organized ahead it looks like a disaster area of dumbbells and equipment when I'm done. But it felt good to get through them (with some modifications).

I will re-start Meso 1 Week 1 next week. Planning to do cardio/abs 2 days per week. Leaving Day 6 as optional cardio/stretch/rest depending on how I feel.
