I don't know anything about her book. I did see the DVD on Amazon, too:

Spinervals Flexible Warrior 5.0 Foam Roll Stretch and Recover DVD

I don't know anything about that vendor though.

On the OPTP site, by the time they add in shipping, handling, and processing (almost $16), it comes up to nearly the same as the MELT one on amazon.

If you buy the OTP roller on Amazon, it's $20 cheaper than the MELT roller... But still on the pricey side. But it might be well worth it.

Laura, thank you. That's really helpful. I'm looking into it right now.
Since we live outside the U.S., we place all the orders that we need every few months.

You're very welcome. I'm looking at it myself.

I've done two yoga practices this week that included a lot of spinal mobility work - that sort of thing always helps me feel more aware of when I'm slouching. I'm not doing specific posture work this month, but am trying to be more aware of my posture during the day.

Shiva Rea Fluid Power: Forward Bends and Hip Openers (18 minutes; includes cat-cow movements during many of the poses)

Ellen Barrett 7-Day Challenge
: Day 3 - Core Yoga (30 minutes)

Also, thanks to Vintage VFer for recommending the Posture, Get It Straight! book and DVD - I ordered them both from Ebay and they're on their way.

That workout has a tough seated ab section along with the posture work.

I haven't been doing any specific posture workouts. I'm just trying to be extra aware of my posture all day long.

I just had some x-rays done and am told I have some scoliosis along with some age-related disc degeneration and osteoarthritis.

As they say, "Getting older is not for wimps!"
