need suggestions on a food logging app that conserves data usage

hi - do you know of a food logging app for android that can be "offline" instead of constantly tracking your steps and whereabouts and pinging your every move? i don't need the activity aspect - i need the food logging aspect.

i had to uninstall one of the apps i downloaded (it wasn't myfitnesspal) because it ate up so much data, and i didn't need it to constantly update my progress.

preferably, i want to be able to log in my meal data offline, and then when i'm at home where wifi is available, it can sync up.

Have you tried Lose it? It looks like you can go online to use it too...I don't know about the data usage though.

I am using Lose It. It doesn’t track anything but does update from a fitness tracker if you want. It’s a great app.

I also like the Lose It app. I have an Apple Watch so it syncs with the activity, but otherwise isn’t tracking my steps.

Did you end up trying out this app?

If so, what were your thoughts?
