Looking for downloads for vacation

I am getting ready for vacation and don’t want to bring my laptop with me (I would have to get an external DVD player for it). I’m looking for downloadable workouts I can do.

That being said, I’ve Had a lot of neck, shoulder, and upper back pain and need something therapeutic to help me with those muscles. I really wish that Classical Stretch offered downloads in addition to streaming and DVDs because that would be perfect.

I need downloads because I will not have access to wifi. If anyone has recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it!

I downloaded Callanetics 30 day countdown from Itunes for my Ipad when I traveled last. If you have an Ipad I would look to see what your options are on Itunes and Amazon.

What I found from some sites you cannot download to a mobile device, only to a computer. That is why I ended up just using Itunes and Amazon, because that is not an issue.

Edit to add: Beachbody on Demand, I can download to my Ipad to use offline.

Several instructors use the Purple Player app to let you download workouts to a phone or tablet. Some of the instructors I have on my phone and tablet are:

Jessica Smith
Kelly Coffey Meyer
Trudy Styler
Michelle Dozois

Mary has a sub-shop with Purple Player downloads.

I love the downloads purchased from Lee Holden. The new videos are all filmed outdoors- some at Yosemite and others at a different park in California. The upper back and neck video (a short and a long program) might help you. I have also really enjoyed the Mindfulness through Movement workout.

Another option is to try a month of Gaia which has yoga, Pilates, tai chi, and some Firm videos, among others. The first month is $0.99 ($9.99/month after) so it would not be a big expense if you decide you don't like it. You could download the workouts to play offline.

Thanks for the replies! I think I’m going to get a month of YouTube Red so that I can download a few YT videos for offline use. That way I don’t have to bring anything larger than my phone and have the videos that I want. I hope it’s easy to cancel later on.

You can also strip your DVD to mp4 files. Use Freemake or Handbrake.

I just downloaded Freemake Downloader again and found out that you can now only download files 3 minutes or less without paying. Horsemom recommended keepvid.com and that worked for me. It took a while to find the downloaded video - it was in my Data folder.

Podcasts are another option. I downloaded the Player FM app onto my Android phone and searched for "yoga" -- there's the option to stream podcasts vs. download some of them. Really loving the Eoin Finn yoga practices available! Try searching for other terms too.
