Had my 1st Pfizer shot at 2 today. Went to our county's mass vaccination clinic. I had to wait 30 mins after since I've had bad reactions to drugs and vaccines before. Our county ran it pretty well, and even hired a DJ to play music while we waited, which I thought was odd at first but then it put everybody in a good mood. My arm is sore now I'm not looking forward to tonight or tomorrow for the side effects to kick in....

I hope the 2nd one will be just as easy, but from what I have heard, the 2nd one is the one that gets you - but most people report it only lasts a day or less. Donna |

I had no reaction to the first and the second one wasn't terrible but it definitely took me by surprise and hit me harder than expected. Erica |

I usually have horrible reactions to vaccines, and especially the flu shot, so for me this quite surprising. I'm really glad that everyone here has shared their experiences, I think that really helps to know what could or could not happen. Three weeks to the 2nd shot! |

Double Post:
A friend recently postulated the theory that folks who have really bad reactions to the vaccines are folks who would have been hit the hardest with the virus. Another "theory," but an interesting one.
