I just read Small Fry: A Memoir. I found the book fascinating and frustrating but couldn't put it down. Any other memoirs or something similar that you found enjoyable? Thanks!

Have you read Educated?

Others I've read in the last few years:

What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami

The Color of Water James McBride

Demi Moore's autobiography
Oliver Sacks: On the Move
Hyeonseo Lee The Girl with Seven Names (grew up in North Korea, escaped)

I by Isaac Mizrahi

Run Don't Walk Adele Levine (Physical Therapist discusses their work at Walter Reed Army hospital)

I liked Oliver Sacks' On the Move, although it was a little rambling. Dr. Ruth's memoir The Doctor is In is great!

I also liked Catherine Gildener's trilogy memoir that starts with Too Close to the Falls. And I just ordered another memoir, My Sister.

I finished the psychological suspense book "Little Secrets" which I really enjoyed. I just started "4 Riverside Close" which is also psychological suspense.

I think my library is opening in some capacity on.June 22nd. All the books we checked out before they closed are listed as due that day. I will return them all, but I am not sure of when I will go inside after they re open.

I found “Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother’s will to Survive” interesting.

I also enjoyed Demi Moore’s Autobiography.

I tried Jessica Simpson’s and even though it got great reviews I just could not get into and gave up.

I finished Night; it was a quick read.

Does anyone have recommendations for books/authors to look for if I go to Goodwill this week? Right now I'm interested in fiction--they tend to have mostly popular books/authors.
