I just heard about this and am shocked. I recently read Dave Grohl's autobiography and it was clear he and Taylor were very close. He must be devastated. RIP.

Just awful. I especially feel bad for Dave Grohl...losing Kurt Cobain and now Taylor...

It is sad he was so young but unfortunately it sounds like a mix of drugs.

Tributes poured in over the weekend for Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. He died over the weekend at age 50 while traveling with the band in South America. An initial toxicology report found 10 substances in his system, including opioids, THC and antidepressants. He is survived by his wife, Alison, and their three children. NBC’s Tom Llamas reports for TODAY.

I read this weekend that the medical examiner in Colombia said his heart was twice the normal size and that he died from a "cardiovascular event". So, an enlarged heart, combined with mixing of drugs, could surely have caused sudden death. I'm still so, so sad over this. So many tributes show he was very beloved.

For Susan Lucci (Erica Kane/All My Children) fans, her husband Helmut Huber has died. He was 84; no cause of death has been given. Her 104-year-old mom died last summer.

Oh no. I used to see Susan Lucci regularly on the Long Island Railroad when I worked in NYC. She lived in Garden City on Long Island. Super nice, down to earth. She adored her husband.

As my radio show says "he died of being 84." That's a good long life, but till tough on Susan, I'm sure.

Estelle Harris has died at age 93. I best remember her as George Costanza's mother on Seinfeld. She also voiced Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story movies.

As unqiue as her voice was, I didn't recognize that she was in Toy Story. I loved her in Seinfeld as well as the rest of the cast.
