Have you gone 90% and over your MHR doing HIIT?

I was doing a Bodyfit by Amy HIIT workout this morning and when I checked my highest heart rate it was 91% my MHR.

Yes, but it’s according to my fitness watch heart rate, not my own count.

Just curious, I use a chest strap heart rate monitor. How much difference was there between your heart rate monitor and your own count?

Since I got my watch, I haven’t often counted on my own. When I first got it, I would check and it seemed accurate but I don’t think I checked for heart rates above 70-80%. Before the watch I periodically checked and my heart rate would get up there, but mostly once I figured it out what the different levels felt like, I went by perceived exertion and think I’m pretty accurate that way, at least indoors at room temperature.
