Manual Treadmill recommendations

So it is getting hot here in the desert already (105F!). I know Katy Bowman doesn't like motorized treadmills and I have read interviews where she says a manual would be a better alternative. There are some really cool looking $3,500 manual treadmills out there with curved decks. But alas, that is way out of my budget. Does anyone have a manual treadmill they like? Thanks!
