I love the free app (optional in-app purchases for certain bells and gong sounds), Insight Timer on apple and android. It has a timer with some free sounds if you want to do your own meditation, and it also has thousands of free guided meditations including quite a few Yoga Nidra-type meditations.

It tracks your meditation practice with lots of detail, so you can see length, frequency, etc.

There is a social aspect, too--you can see who is meditating at the same time as you around the world and have friends (I think--haven't gone that far).

My preference when I meditate is to do it on my own without cds, dvds, or videos. I prefer not to be led by someone. No music, no background sounds in a quiet room works best for me.

I second the recommendation for Insight Timer!!!
It's amazing!!!! It has helped me maintain a daily meditation practice. Has TONS of FREE guided meditations or you can just use the timer as Winnie says.
