I thought the prices seemed high for used also, but after scrolling through, I see there are some that are less than $9.99.

I never post here anymore but wanted to share my Collage used DVD experience. I ordered 4 used DVDs 3 were described as “Very Good” one as “Like New.” All had at least small scratches.

The “Like New” DVD was a DVDr (this wasn’t disclosed.) with what looked like a home printed label and a fairly wide band of scratches. To be fair it seems to play without skips. I just wonder if it’s legit.

I emailed them letting them know that I understood the no returns policy but explaining that their descriptions aren’t really truthful. They really didn’t seem to care. Just stated that people like to save money on used DVDs.

I really hope my experience is the exception rather than the rule. If you order used DVDs from them you may want to assume what you’ll receive will be in “Acceptable” condition.

From now on I’ll reserve my used DVD purchases for Mary. I’ve never had a bad experience with her DVDs, used or new!

Thanks for posting Lannette. I'm sorry for your bad experience, but glad you shared it with us. I was this close to purchasing two used dvds (one described as Like New), but missed out on one and talked myself out of the other. I don't think I've ever had a problem with buying new dvds from them and was hoping for the same positive experience with the used dvds. Thanks for saving me time, money, and regrets!

I have a feeling that they are just new at this. All four DVDs do play. I agree that their service with new DVDs is excellent. I won’t hesitate to buy new from them.

The DVDr with scratches was what was really surprising. Mary always lists DVDrs as such. I suggested that they do so going forward.

I guess mine is more a cautionary tale. Hopefully they get as good at pricing and selling used DVDs as they are at selling new ones.

I noticed that Collage now guarantees that their used DVDs will play. I don’t believe that statement had been on their used DVD page previously. I’d love it if they’d give descriptions of the various DVD conditions so buyers would know exactly what to expect when purchasing a “Like New” vs a “Good” DVD.
