Annual Winter Solstice & New Year Sadhana?

Hello VFers!

Now that we are into December, I always start thinking about my annual Winter Solstice and/or New Year Sadhana….yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, reading…..the list goes on & the focus is always up to the participant. I always enjoy hearing about others experiences, practices, & benefits.

I plan to start my Sadhana on the 21st so I’ll start a check in thread that day. Winter Solstice is December 21 at 7:58 am PST here on the west coast. Many prefer to start on Jan 1 and, as always, there are no rules.

I hope some of you will join me!

I will join you. December 21 is the best day because it's the shortest day..then the days start to get longer again which is what I look forward to.

I will join you too. Not sure if I'll start the 21st or wait till the 1st.

You don't have to be fast, just keep moving forward.

I will try to join in also. I am not good at responding to individual posts now. I may just list what I'm doing if no one minds.

There’s never any obligation to chat or do personals, always no rules! I get interesting ideas for practices just by reading what everyone is doing.

I am actually going to try a yoga and meditation ritual. I say I will do this every year and start off well but then it stops. I even figure if I do 5 minutes of each a day that is better than nothing.

My goal though is to go all year, every day.
