Which I hate. Once I've done it, I don't want to see it anymore.

Thanks. Completely necessary for those of us who are choreographically challenged, however!

What about the Firm's Cardio Sculpt Blaster? It's only 30 minutes and the cardio is pretty basic but there are some equipment changes. It's not the most exciting cardio video out there, but I like to do it when I want to zone out.

Just thought of another one. Yoga Rhythims. It is an old Baywatch workout. It's really 1/2 yoga-pilates and 1/2 cardio. The cardio is slow moving. It kinda makes me sleepy.

I often enjoy doing simple workouts, too - but I hate TIFTing. Charlene Prickett (her earlier videos, or her TV shows) are great because there's absolutely no choreography. Or Kathy Smith's Step Workout or Buns and Thighs Step. The only "exciting" stuff that Kathy does in these videos is change the arm patterns. Very basic.

If you want gentle cardio with lots of TIFT, how about Petra Kobler's BREATHE? I definitely didn't like this one! And while I DO like Crunch Burn & Firm Pilates, some people have said that it's very repetitive (LOTS of plies), so you might like it. I know you're not a fan of Pilates, but this is almost all standing cardio with a very short (less than 10 minutes) non-traditional matwork portion at the end.

Also, when I'm bored with my videos, I stop by the library and try something new at random; I can always get myself to work out that way.

When I saw this thread I immediately thought of Gin Miller's Simply Step and her Simply Circuit. I love Gin but wish she had added just a little bit more spice. That said, they'll get the job done while you are mentally elsewhere.

A few more mind-numbing workout recs:

The original Step Reebok video by Gin Miller (the first one, whatever it's called)
Cathe's Classics (Step Heat, Step Max, and maybe parts of Step Jam too)

I don't think TIFTing is a crime exactly (like, I've tried almost every Christi workout, and I've never found one where I had a problem with the TIFTing), but I think Red Hot Salsa and CIA 9908 are, uh, the exercise video equivalents of that name game where you have to say everyone else's name before you introduce yourself, then the next person says everyone's name plus yours, etc. Good for learning choreo. Bad for inspiring me to do the workout a second time.

The FIRM's Tri-Trainer Fat Blaster Cardio Whatever-Its-Name-Really-Is video. Aerobic anesthesia.
