Take the poll to find the answer

What type of workouts did change your body the most:

I am just curious what the answer will be with the most of you.
That is why I created this poll.
You can use more options and please tell us what set or trainer you did use below the poll.
Thanks in advance.

I had my best results with a combination Cathe (mostly MuscleMax) and Turbofire. BUT I was still having periods and was working a highly physically demanding job.

I marked "toning and aerobics" because P90X "as written" made a big change in my body. But, full disclosure: It was my first time getting serious with weights, AND I followed the eating plan.
And maybe I should have marked "yoga" because that's been a huge, long-term change in my fitness and quality of life. Not as much visible change in as short a time as P90X, though.

I’m curious what you mean by change your body. Is it how you look or how you feel? Appearance vs quality of life, pain relief, mobility, flexibility, etc. Essentrics, yoga, & cardio improve my quality of life and how I feel. Barre, high rep/low weight toning, and, to some degree Essentrics, improve my physical appearance. At 63, it’s definitely more about how I feel.

I voted toning workouts combined with aerobics - but on the assumption that "toning" means weights workouts. I was the best shape of my life when doing aerobics classes and lifting heavy at a World Gym.

I voted for step workouts because they reshaped my lower body at one time. And I voted for heavy strength workouts because when I've done heavy weights (for me), my body has rapidly slimmed down.

I love polls!!!

And I voted, but honestly, I experience different changes that are each significant depending on what I am doing. These are not always visible changes to others but are so impactful to me.

So many moons ago, walking outdoors and step aerobics helped me get a grip on my weight.

Then light weights and aerobics to help me build consistency and enjoy exercise.

Then there was my pilates fascination which helped me wake up all the connections from my mind to my muscles. Never realized how cool that could be.

Then there was Taebo and other kickboxing that made flailing my arms and legs so much fun.

Cardio coach helped me achieve a cardio base I never thought possible. First time I really pushed myself.

Somehow 10 minute workouts and other short workouts spread through the day were effective at helping me maintain my sanity.

Then most recently I began to push myself doing Cathe and bodyweight cardio to building strength and pushing my cardio abilities.

Recently, kettlebells have really jacked up my muscle awareness, strength, and invigorated my confidence.

So not all of those could be the biggest change that someone outwardly would identify, but each one is hugely significant to me in my health journey.

If I had to pick just one or two, it would be hard to decide!

I voted for heavy weights and HIIT, but I also think core workouts make a big difference. Pilates has increased my spinal flexibility and I love it for that.
