Ordered. I wanted to just use my debit card, but right now the only option is Paypal or mailing in a check (although they plan to change that soon and have regular credit card/debit card billing available).

Anyway Lauren wrote me back and....

I also wanted to let you know that if you place your order this week, you'll receive your copy of The Ultimate Yogi on December 23rd!! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else and I'm so excited to go on this journey with you. We have a BIG group of people starting the program on January 9th and it would be so much fun to share the transformational process with you. You'll be able to connect with everyone else going through the program through our blog, Facebook page, You Tube channel and Twitter. Please let me know if I can help with anything else and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sounds awesome, although I won't be starting on the 9th as I intend to finish APY60 first. I hope the program is as good as the teasers. From the other 2 DVDs he has out it looks like they will be.

It does sound awesome and I hope they're wonderful! I really like Travis' practices, his music choices, and his voice so I hope these aren't that different from his usual thing. I love the addition of yin yoga and meditation so it seems like the full yoga package!

There are more videos in UY YouTube channel now and the newest one contains clips from the classes (no audio as they run in the background). It looks like a solid program and it's beautifully shot!

But the trailers crack me up big time - LOL at traveller Travis with the backpack and major LOL at Gandalf

On one hand I'm cracking up, but on the other hand it looks really well filmed. I am hoping the cheese factor is just on the trailers. If the clips are what the actual class looks like I think I will love it.

This is precisely how I'm feeling too, Stephanie! I hope they saved all the cheese for trailers and the classes are just classes. I also wonder if there is music in the classes, and of what kind.

Tigerbaby, if you did other classes or videos by Travis, what is his teaching style, pace etc?

Herya, I'll be very interested to see how these dvds turn out because Travis is a very spiritual person but he of course would want to make this series for the mainstream public. His practices are very traditional yoga, strength based and flowy. You'll get the strength and pacing of Bryan Kest with the flowiness of Shiva Rea mixed with a calm demeanor reminiscent of Eoin Finn. He has a strong spiritual aspect in his practices and includes chanting and music from people like Krishna Das or Jai Uttal.

I think this series will be challenging, informative, and beautifully done as he seems to have an ear and eye for beauty. I can't wait until next year to get it!

ETA: Here is a clip of his earlier practice Yoga Evolution.

Tiffany the way you describe him it sounds like heaven. Are his other two DVDs worth purchasing? I think I might.
