Outdoor settings

Hi
Like I mentioned in a few posts, I’m back to working out on a regular basis. For the first time, since I started home training years ago, my WO room is in my basement. It’s roomier than ever but it’s a dark painted room. I will lighten it up in the spring! But in the meantime, for some weird reason, the settings of the WO have become very important. I find myself reaching more often for the outdoor setting type of workout. I do not have a lot, so I’m wondering what are your favorite outdoor settings DVDs? (Cardio, strength, cross-trainer and dance) Thanks

The best one I have (as far as setting) is Sylwia's newest CardioMat. It's in a nature preserve with no music, just wind and birds.

Also nice are Tracey Mallet's Renew You Cardio Fusion and Sleek and Lean.

Madeleine Lewis's Walking for Weight Loss
The new Karen Voights--Ballet Body and Total Body Stretch
Classical Stretch--love the beachy, resorty feel
Margaret Richard's Unplugged series
Sara Ivanhoe's Yoga Target Zone and Yoga on the Edge

That's what I can think of, off the top of my head.

Madeleine Lewis - Cardio Burn
Margaret Richard - Triple Threat
Debbie Rocker workouts (I find her boring, but her workouts ARE outdoors!)
The Self workouts (Sexy Legs, Flat Abs, Best Butt, etc.)

Those are off the top of my head!

Most of the Gilad workouts are outdoors in Hawaii. Some (but not all) of Charlene Prickett's older workouts are outdoors in the Canadian Rockies. Tamilee Webb's Defy Gravity is outdoors (in Jamaica I think). The Caribbean Workouts are also outdoors in beach or pool settings. The Biggest Loser Power Walk is outdoors on the lawn at a resort. There is also Kathy Smith's Fat Burning Breakthrough which is an older step workout which is outdoors. And for a real oldie there is Karen Voight's Your Personal Best workout in Hawaii.

Tamilee Webb's Total Stretch for Beginners (Jamaica)
Rodney Yee's yoga DVDs usually have amazing outdoor scenery.

The Element Yoga videos are outdoors, overlooking the ocean, there's some vine-covered pergula (sp?) nearby.

Beachbody's Brazil Butt Lift cuts from an indoor setting to a wonderful beach setting. Seems perfect for a morning when it is snowy and gray!!

Another vote for Margaret's Triple Threat and Unplugged series. Outdoor settings give tough workouts less of a dread factor for me.
