If I like Sarina Jain's FitTV All-Star workout...

...which of her Bhangra dvds would I like best? I used to have the FitTV workout saved, but not any more.

Or are there any other bhangra or even Bollywood workouts that are similar?

I've looked at Hemalayaa's workouts and there's something that just turns me off. Maybe she's too cutesy in her facial expressions? IDK.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I haven't tired her FitTV workout, so I can't advise you. (I would love to try them, but I don't have FitTV.)

I will tell you that I've tried volumes 1 and 2 of her video workouts. I love 1. It's very bouncy and the impact fairly high, but the instruction is good, and it's easy to follow once you get it down. Volume 2, IMO, is terrible. Bad instruction, hard to follow. I didn't care for it at all.

Doubt that helps much, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

THanks Shelley! That at least knocks Vol 2 out!

Ironically, I did her Exercise TV Jam this morning on the bungee and enjoyed it.

Previously, haven't revisited her first 3 dvds since I received volume 2 badly scratched after a temp loan to another VFer who didn't secure the volume 2 dvd in its case well when returning them, leaving a bad freeze during the warmup. May retry that dvd soon on my newest dvd player to see if I can get past the freeze without skipping the warmup.

I believe volume 3 was my favorite so the only one I wanted to keep.
Cannot find volume one so I must have traded that one? LOL
Couldn't trade volume two because of its scratch. I also tried volume 4 from Netflix or Blockbusters but obviously wasn't enthralled with it enough to purchase it or maybe just got burnt out.

I don't have Fit TV but I can tell you the one workout of hers I is Back 2 Bollywood; clip on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbcfl...layer_embedded

My Zumba instructor trained with Sarina to become certified and teaches Masala Bhangra with her Zumba classes (often splits her class 50/50)... so energizing!

I'm kicking myself for deleting the FitTV workout off of my TiVo right before they stopped playing All-Star Workouts on FitTV. It was repetitive, but it was surprisingly fun and approachable. So I'm glad you asked this question, Alison, in case the mood strikes me again.
