RETRO -- Canadian Air Force Exercises

Happy Easter / Passover to everybody!

Has anyone here done a rotation of the Royal Canadian Air Force exercises? They have one set for the men, another for the women.
If so, what were your results, what level did you get up to, any thoughts on this?

TIA, and happy holiday!
Carol

You message is a blast from the past! I had their booklet in high school (?) and use to do them, carefully recording my results in the booklet. I never finished the rotation, but don't remember how far I got. I think I restarted at least a couple of times. Wasn't good at finishing rotations then either.

Did they later put out DVDs or maybe VCR tapes?

I used to have that pamphlet. In the summer of 1977, I followed the program to be strong while I was studying for the CA bar exam. I passed. I would never do their style of situps in this century.

I did some of this when I was a teen back in the seventies.

Eventually some of the drills got boring and I could never get up to whatever number of reps in however many minutes.

Got really strong, though, and this was in the days when I spent my summers swimming.

I had the booklet too, but lost it when the basement of our family house got flooded.

I did this too, as a teenager in the late 70's!
Wouldn't do them today but they got me started working out at home.
Thanks for posting the link, I'm looking forward to a little nostalgia.

These exercises are what Dame Helen Mirren uses to keep fit! Given that she can still rock a bikini, she clearly has found the workout that works for her.
