More wrist weights

The other wrist weight thread has made me wish I knew what happened to the pull on stretchy wrist weights I had like Jane Fonda used in her low impact aerobics workout. I think mine were pink and kind of terry cloth covered. I know I would never have thrown them out but I have moved several times and they probably got lost in a move. I wish I still had them - I haven’t found any like them for sale anymore.

Yes! Spenco Biosoft! I still have mine and still use them all the time---as recently as yesterday. I can't remember why or where I bought them or how much they cost, but I'm sure I've gotten my money's worth! They are in great shape. I checked and saw them on ebay---the seller had one set left and they are $19.95. They are pink so they are probably the ones that you had. Mine are purple. Amazon also has some wrist weights but not Spenco ones. although there are some soft ones, which I would prefer. I used the search term "biosoft" and got a few hits.

I had some doughnut weights that were covered in a shiny fabric. Eventually, little pieces of some kind of grainy metal shavings started leaking through the fabric, and I had to throw them out, because they made quite a mess. I would love to find some new wrist weights.

Is this what you guys are talking about? I have my mom's purple ones! I think I also have some black shiny donut ones she had. She was like me, keep everything! In the last years of her life she did start decluttering a lot but I think all fitness things survived the purges. I had forgotten I have them so thanks for the reminder!

ETA: I just went and checked, I don't have black shiny donut ones. I think I misremembered those, I have a pair of soft black ones with a velcro closure that were hers.

Any one have these. Price looks to be about the same as the other ones.

I had the stretchy ones in blue. When they wore out, I used them as dryer balls.

Kind f off the subject, but how do you guys keep them clean? I've had different brands, but never know how to keep them fresh after sweat has nearly ruined them.

Has anyone tried the Bala ones I mentioned above. A local sporting goods store has them. I would try them out, but they are kind of fussy regarding returns.
If anyone has them or has tried them, please let me know.

I first saw the Bala weights on Shark Tank. I was intrigued until I saw the price. I think they are way too expensive for what you get.
