Workout space flooring

Hello,

I recently moved and the new apartment appears to have laminate flooring. I’ve never had this type of floors before. Previously i’ve had floors with tiles or carpet. I usually get some puzzle mats for the workout space but this time I won’t be able to. I will be using my workout mat for some of the workouts, but i’m worried that with all that jumping and moving and weights falling might damage the floors. Do you have any recommendations on how to care for this type of flooring or what can i do to make sure it won’t get damaged by my exercising?
