I usually will loosely do a day of cardio + pilates, followed by a day of weights + stretching, then a day of yoga, next day weights and repeat rotation. Sometimes I use light weights with the cardio, but the moves are slow and controlled. This keeps my body flexible, pain free and strong.
I usually use no more than 3-10lbs. I can do push-ups from my toes etc. I don’t want muscular arms like a man, but feel it’s important to be able to lift heavy objects when needed.
